Minimize Discomfort With Technology & Needle-Free Anesthesia

Your comfort is important to us at Ned W. Windmiller Distinctive Dentistry, whether you’ve suffered a dental injury, are undergoing a lengthy procedure, or are just a little nervous about your appointment. We minimize discomfort by using some of the latest technologies, including lasers. Our dentists use a laser in place of a drill whenever they can to eliminate unpleasant sounds and sensations. Lasers also can eliminate the need to cut and suture gums or other soft tissue.

Many people dislike getting local anesthesia almost as much as actually undergoing a dental procedure. Our dentists use a needle-free method called Kovanaze® to administer your anesthesia. There’s no needle stick and no lingering numbness of lips and cheeks. You’ll feel more like yourself, more quickly, following your procedure.

Sedation & Amenities Keep You Relaxed

Our caring staff will offer you amenities to keep you relaxed throughout your treatment. It’s easy to stay stress-free in our comfortable massage chairs, especially with a blanket for added warmth. You can also use headphones to tune out your treatment if you’d like.

Because every situation is different, you can choose from two kinds of safe dental sedation:

  • Inhaled sedation, or “laughing gas,” to take the edge off
  • Oral conscious sedation for a deeper level of relaxation

No matter which kind of sedation you choose, you’ll be carefully monitored throughout your procedure.

If you need emergency dental care, call (651) 413-9860.
