Meet Your New Stillwater Dentist
Well, I really enjoy dentistry. It's the best of both worlds. I get to meet and see a lot of great people every day, plus technically I'm able to use my skills and give people a really nice smile. That's fun to see people on the street that you've given a nice smile to. They appreciate it and appreciate what I've done for them.
People ask me about dentistry. Would you ever go into it? I said yes, I highly encourage any young person to go into dentistry today.
Most rewarding is the wonderful people I've met over the years. Patients become friends. I think that's what I would miss most if I wasn't here every day, is all the wonderful people that I get to see. Not only the personalities, but their great smiles. Just a wonderful profession.
I am a graduate of Macalester College of St. Paul and the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. And I am very proud of ... I have kept up with all my continuing education through the years. I've become accredited through American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and also American Society for Dental Aesthetics, and recently was awarded diplomat status in the American Academy.
We do create a lot of nice smiles. Natural smiles, I like to say, because people come in and say, "I want veneers, but they look so fake." I say, "Well, if they're done right, they should look very natural." And that's our goal, to have people look nice and feel good about themselves and look and feel younger. And that's what we do.
